Admirers of the Friday the 13th series will be excited to learn that Jason Voorhees has joined the MultiVersus character lineup, now accessible to everyone participating in the open beta. In this game, Jason functions as a Tank, sacrificing speed for stronger attacks. A new trailer recently offered enthusiasts a detailed look at his abilities.
One of his standout moves, Unstoppable Rage, allows him to transform damage taken into temporary grey health while simultaneously boosting his speed and enhancing the impact of his subsequent attacks. This ability benefits him and extends some grey health to his teammates. Moreover, his Mist Step skill lets him teleport forward, effectively repelling nearby enemies.
Another notable ability, Sweet Dreams, features Jason using a ruthlessly inventive attack in which he places an opponent in a sleeping bag and uses it either as a bludgeon or a projectile. This move proves especially useful for moving one enemy while simultaneously inflicting damage on another.
MultiVersus, including these new features, will be accessible to players on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC starting May 28th.
